Issaquah, Washington – March 20, 2009. An Issaquah police officer was pursuing an allegedly stolen Toyota 4Runner on East Lake Sammamish Parkway last Friday. The driver of the 4Runner attempted to flee, but was entangled in traffic. The suspect, using some creativity, tried to drive over a parking strip but became stuck.

The police officer stopped behind the suspect, but was injured when the 4Runner backed up into the squad car. It seems the officer suffered minor injuries and was released at the scene by medics. Two men were taken into custody, and should have a wonderful time in court soon.
